BBC Interview: Student Safety in Norwich and the Role of Callie
This morning, our co-founder Callum Coombes was interviewed on the BBC Radio Norfolk Breakfast Show, discussing student safety in Norwich, particularly around concerns with taxis at night.

Why the Interview Happened
The interview followed a BBC News article highlighting concerns raised by the University of East Anglia Students’ Union. Their recent survey revealed that 24% of students felt “somewhat unsafe” or “very unsafe” using taxis in Norwich after dark. Incidents of harassment, as well as the high-profile case of a minicab driver sexually assaulting multiple women, have left students feeling anxious and vulnerable when travelling at night.
